Activity 2: Let's play some games
Game 1 (Board): Monopoly.
Q1. I felt bored playing this game as I had to wait a long time before my turn and there was little suspense early game as there's little risk to lose money.
Q2. The thing I liked most about Monopoly was that you could increase your properties value if all places are owned, through the usage of houses and hotels.
Q3. I disliked that with a larger player count, it becomes substantially harder to win because owning all the properties of a colour is harder as more people have a chance to land on that colour and purchase the property, making money lost on a property lower, increasing late game time.
Q4. To win the game you ultimately need luck, a player with incontestable luck will win, however, strategy is required as you should focus on properties with more spaces so you can build properties on that spot, increasing money lost from your opponents if they land on one on those spaces.
Q5. I wouldn't change anything about the main game, it's flawless and I still play Monopoly regularly, usually once when I visit a friends house, I recommend playing with modifiers if playing with 4 or more people.
Q6. I give Monopoly a score of 10 as it's a great idea and isn't unfair to one side, except to the lucky person, but that person will win in any game you play anyway.

Game 2 (Board): Jenga.
Q1. The game Jenga is suspenseful as you have to feel for pieces that're loose before choosing one to pick from the tower.
Q2. I enjoy the various strategies in Jenga as you can play it safe and hope your opponent makes a sloppy play or take a risk to deny them of a future safe play.
Q3. The tower twisting was a dislike as it made some pieces able to be selected and denied others.
Q4. A player needs to think ahead of their moves and opponents moves to choose safe pieces to pick without risk of toppling the tower.
Q5. The removal of the tower twisting would be a welcomed change, not sure how the game makers could change this, however.
Q6. Jenga gets a score of 8 because of its encouragement of strategy but loses points because of the tower tilting flaw, may just be sloppy piece picking.

Game 3 (Board): Scrabble.
Q1. This game was boring as everyone took too long to make a play and interrupted the flow frequently by not knowing who was making a play next.
Q2. I enjoyed that the game made me think of words I rarely use that use uncommon characters in order to get more points.
Q3. I was sad that I got 6 vowels and a g as my starting pieces, so I couldn't do much except wait to get more useful letters
Q4. A player needs to know lots of words and need useful pieces to win, the usage of the increased point tiles would also increase the players chance to win.
Q5. I'd increase the amount of starting pieces to 10 instead of 7, this will give more players higher chances for vowels and won't get other people stuck with 6 vowels.
Q6. Scrabble gets a score of 6, this is because I had bad luck with my pieces and everyone took too long to make a play.

Game 4 (Card) Barnyard.
Q1. Everyone enjoyed this one, at least a bit, the game was amusing as people struggled to remember the sound of the barnyard animal.
Q2. I enjoyed having the same card as the one person that matched with other people every round so everyone knew their sound and called it out immediately.
Q3.  A dislike was some people were able to play a round of the game without matching cards with someone else.
Q4. A player needs to select an animal with a hard to remember, luck, and needs to remember the other players animal call outs.
Q5. I wouldn't change the game except adding small modifiers to games with more players such as same suit matches require to call out other players as it's less likely to match with someone.
Q6. The game gets a 9, it lost a point as most of the winners won because they never matched, but everyone enjoyed the game.

Game 5 (Card) Can't remember the name.
Q1. The game made me relaxed as I knew all the cards that been played and knew when to make a play by guessing on the cards that had been played.
Q2. I enjoyed that I had a chance at winning, even if my cards were bad because no one knew what every other player had.
Q3. I didn't like how there wasn't a timer on how long someone had to make a play on something, so you could reveal your next cards to play and they could protest that their turn was skipped, despite you waiting 10 seconds for a potential play.
Q4. A player needs a good understanding of the rules and interactions of the game and cards to be able to win, you should know what the legal plays are so you don't out what your cards are and should understand what cards have greater value than others.
Q5. I'd change the game by adding specific combinations of cards to be able to beat other cards, such as the Jack, Queen, and King being able to beat any single Jack Queen or King.
Q6. My rating is 10 for this game as it follows the saying of "it doesn't matter what your cards are, it's how you play them."

Game 6 (Card) Cheat.
Q1. The game made me feel slightly paranoid, mainly when calling out someone else's cards.
Q2. I enjoyed calling someones play out and having them be far from winning again.
Q3. I disliked how it was pointless to call out someone who placed their last card as cheating as they only got their own card back and then would just get called out again when they replaced the card, only to get 6 cards back as they have a 12/13 chance to be cheating.
Q4. A player needs to think very far ahead for what the card they have to place last is, otherwise they're guaranteed to be set back until they get lucky.
Q5. The player should win when they place their last card and shouldn't be able to be called out for it, increasing the win chance and lowering the time for a game to end.
Q6. Cheat gets a score of 8 because it can easily be dragged on because getting a winner is hard to do if you're actively monitoring what they're playing, it's easy to win if they keep their hands under the desk/table though.
