For a model and prototype class, we were put into groups of 3 to create a line of interior products. My group decided our target market was 25-35 year old people who wanted to have a space efficient apartment. With that in mind, we prototyped a vase, a clock and a shelf that would all be designed to hold on walls. The line of products was mostly made out of wood and styene but also included ren foam and mirrors.
For the process, we did research and got inspired by architectural and structured shapes. Then, we ideated seperatlety and together with a number of sketches. From that, we selected our best ideas, combined them into original products and got into the making process.

For the vase, we made a model out of blue foam and used it as a base for actually vaccuum forming the vase. Once that was done, we worked on the lower part of the vase, which was made out of wood. Finally, we spray-painted each piece in order to visualize the final product better.
For the clock, we used wood, styrene, mirrors and painted the prototype with an airbrush, for more precision.
