This is Atlanta's third Super Bowl Live. The city was host to Super Bowl XXVIII in 1994 and Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000 at the Georgia Dome.

Halftime show: Maroon 5 will headline the Super Bowl 2019 halftime show. Several artists turned down the gig, according to billboard.com, because of the way the league handled the national anthem protests. Maroon 5 confirmed on Sunday, Jan. 13 that the band will perform. Rappers Travis Scott and Big Boi also will perform.
