Play Synopsis: A brilliant mathematician goes insane and dies. As they prepare for his funeral, his student discovers a fantastic find in his desk—a proof which the mathematician's daughter claims to be her own. This play focuses on discovery—of the proof itself and of one's sanity and sense of reality—and strife between relationships.

Design Concept: This monochromatic and minimalistic approach focuses on the tension and coldness of the play. The notebook faces the opposite direction to signify viewing the end of the man's life. A photo of the man is taped on using a band aid to pull in the medical aspect of the story and the relational aspect, as one would usually keep their loved one's photo with them.
