Target Gift Card
I’ve always wanted to work with Target’s creative team. Their gift cards in particular have been a dream since I got into illustration years ago.
A few weeks ago I sent this concept package to an art director at Target as promo material vouching for my hiring on a project. This is the first outreach I’ve done so far in my career and I’m very grateful for my position in the freelance world so far, but it’s also been interesting trying to make myself seen by a particular set of eyes and solve that problem for myself.
I thought a gift card that comes in a small shipping box would be a fun way to promote their online orders, featuring Bullseye the mascot, and the brand’s shopping cart icon used for their e commerce / app stuff.
