During the designing process of my step stool I analyzed my habits and body measurements in order to create the ideal furiture for my personal needs. First I built multiple mock ups from household items to try out different dimensions. With the best results I started to experiment with different shapes and joints.
My final design has two steps. While the first one is wide enough to accomodate both feet, the second one is for stabilizing with one foot while bending over or lifting heavier objects.
