Rashays, a Restaurant chain in Sydney wanted to revamp their in-store point-of-sale collateral. The brief specifically called for limited visuals and more typography - a calculated break from the usual restaurant visual clutter. The stark black, white and orange typography was used for the outdoor signage as it was conspicious from a distance.
I experimented with a minimalistic approach as well as an illustrated handcrafted chalk design, the client went ahead with the chalky graphic design
Since the client had a very young workforce (fresh out of school/ University) in their kitchens, the training department wanted an innovative way to introduce new recipes, I came up with an illustrative one which shows the step by step process in an engaging way
