A group project based on a dystopian, steampunk world. I worked as the editor and compositor within a group of six students. 'War of the Worlds' is a minute trailer that reveals a man that has become aware of other life forms outside of Earth and is about to witness the invasion.
Below are examples of my contribution for this project.
Colour Correcting
The scene is set on a blimp during the middle of the night. The sources of light is mainly coming from the moonlight, candlelight and a bright lamp off screen. The director aimed for a heavy contrast of the blue moonlight and the orange indoor warm light to be visualised on screen.
Editing and Compositing
Combining elements of Live action and animations created by the animation team to create the final scene through Adobe After Effects.
