Design
The design is modern and unique, while also being utilitarian and practical. The Wall Asr Calendar is a unique calendar layout inspired by the familiar analogue 12 hour clock face displayed in a full circle. This layout enables the entire year to be displayed in one continuous flowing time line. Starting from the centre with the entire year, the calendar points one towards the month, the specific week and finally the particular day. This set up leaves the most space in the day field, which is where most information is written down. This unique calendar design not only looks elegant, but is also a very practical management tool which allows for cohesive presentation of all yearly schedules without interruption. It is especially useful for projects which are spread over multiple months or spill over into the following month. The centre space is useful for decorations, family photos, postcards, drawings, or even extra space for writing related daily tasks.
Conceptualised in 2009 and offered as a product for the first time in 2014, the final design of the calendar is a result of many concepts, iterations and refinements over the years and it also now conforms to the ISO 8601:2004 standard.
