DESIGNS FOR ECO-RESPONSIBILITY AWARENESS
Inspired by Nas' famous "Illmatic" album cover, this design attempts to put at the literal forefront those most affected by negative climate change, a subgroup that has little say in the politically partisanship debate of ecological policy - the future residents of the most vulnerable parts of our planet.
This design attempts to bring to attention an often forgotten aspect of ecological responsibility, which is to conscientiously recycle one's electronics. It's a very simple procedure which, if not done properly, could easily lead to terrible results.
This design is a reworking of the first design, except done with adobe illustrator's vector imaging. It's a much more dystopian and minimalist approach to the original idea of climate disintegration, if allowed to progress to its catastrophic climax, having an indiscriminately fatal end for us all. This is enforced even more by the use of a bare skull, one that lacks any features which we so often use to separate ourselves from the suffering of others.
Another vector image designed on adobe illustrator meant to encapsulate a thought-provoking message of responsibility in a minimalist graphic. This one is created from an astronaut's point of view from outer space, looking down at an earth that might be deemed too toxic to return to. After the previous design, i decided to contrast the gravitas of ecological disaster with something a little more light-hearted, while also trying to maintain a level of poignancy and urgency in the final call to action.
