"Out, Damned Spot!" New Yorker Cover

The given project was to create a cover illustration for the New Yorker magazine, as well as illustrations for the inside story spread. In aligning with the magazine's tone and frequent view, I chose a commentary on the 45th president's reactions to recent gun violence (more specifically, Stoneman-Douglas). The President is depicted as Lady Macbeth in the famous scene where, guilt ridden and frantic, she tries to clean the blood from her hands. The inside spread shows stained towels that represent the people or things being used to wipe the symbolic blood away.
