I illustrated a cover illustration and an infographic for an article about the persistence of myths and misperceptions surrounding sexual health and family planning in sub-Saharan Africa. 

A variety of myths exist the comprising communities, and the extent to which they are held to be valid is of serious concern as it is compounding the region's high prevalence of HIV, low birth rates, and infant mortality.

The long form article was a fascinating read and speaks to my poly-sci background, which I love. I was also very excited to get to create an infographic. I love organizing information through design and would love the opportunity to create more of these.
