INTRODUCTION
Poltava regional administration square is the biggest political square in the city. The place has formed a ceremonial attituted towards itself.
In 2016, ukrainian architecture and art competition "Territory of Majdan" for the best project of public space of the square was announced. In November 2016 the winner was chosen - urban platform 'CityLab'.
According to the winners, the dignity of the events of the "Revolution of Dignity" is the embodiment of values and ideals proclaimed on the Maidan: dignity, equality, freedom, qualitative changes.According to these principles 'CityLab' has decided to portray in a qualitatively new environment, where harmoniously combined a comfortable public space that can attract people and serve as a place for mass gatherings, as well as a memorable sign that delicately reminds of important events for our country's history. and he honors the fallen from them.
In 2017, our studio was involved in developing a public space project.

FUNCTIONS
On the basis of the information we have developed a scheme of functional zoning. In the park with an amphitheater, green lawn and walkways you can play active games and lie on the lawn. In front of the PRA, we left the area for assembly. The dining area will provide office workers and visitors to the grocery store with comfortable tables and benches. And in a cozy part behind the building of the Regional State Administration we have placed a children's playground and a zone for parents. Finally, part of Zigina Street, which has been blocked for a long time, has become a pedestrian. Now, instead of the area, it will become a transit zone. We also cared about parking - bike and car parking will be arranged near the conference hall.
