We started this project with the intention of presenting Filipino Theater as the premium critical art form that would give its audience something to think about. It appeared in our research that Filipino Theater and the youth (ages 17-21)
did not appreciate Filipino Theater simply because they feel that it is not a worthy entertainment investment. The goal of his project is to prove otherwise
Sa Nagmulat ng Ating Mata is a web video series project that intends to show the critical side of theater and its parallels to society
Web Design
In the early stages of conceptualization of Sa Nagmulat ng Ating Mata's website, it was already established that it should predominantly appear black. This serves as a visual allusion to the spectacle of a theater performance, dark around the edges that gives spotlight to the important part of the event; the performance. In the case of this website, the images as well as the text are given focus.
Web Assets
The web assets were shot and styled by my partner Lois. It only serves as a visual supplement to the important text. It was shot utilizing the rembrandt lighting technique, as to make it uniform with the overall tone.

Video Style Frames
In this project, I directed, edited and color graded 1 out of 3 episodes. The tone of this episode is very serious, trying to show the very gritty reality of today's society and how it has affected the citizens. This episode only features 1 character, the protagonist, Jojo, a very caring boy wrongfully judged of doing illegal activities.
This episode tries to evoke the emotion of the tragedy of a romantic kid
