Fantasy art was one of my earliest influences and a great motivation to get involved in the illustration industry. Recently I realised that although I constantly look at and love fantasy art I haven’t made any for quite some time. With that in mind I decided to explore the classic genre trope of a knights perilous adventure into the lair of a fearsome beast. This piece was a great fun and provided an opportunity for exploration of lighting and rendering techniques.
