There is always a diversified but intimate linkage between rice and water.
Rice is the only cereal that can stand water submergence. Water quality affects the rice cultivation drastically while the monoculture phenomenon further limits the diversity of rice. Fish is one of the key player that contribute in such integrated system in facilitating the rice growth. The idea is exploring the relationships between rice and water while at the same time, introducing the importance of symbiosis with touchpoints of production, distribution and consumption. Ultimately, creating a circular economy through a sustainable system.
A rice revolution starts from the muddy ground.
Risolution is a concept store based on the symbiosis among the rice field, water and fish. Presenting a bridge combining a structure of rice field and an eco-friendly glass house, crossing the river of Darsena.

Passing by a floating rice fields which connects the store and the river banks, the main building of the store is a glass box structure covered by rice straw blinds. This can prevent the glass structure from the heat due to direct exposure to the sun.
