In this project, completed for a Computer Modeling class at SCAD in February of 2013, I was required to design, model, and render an original multitool or folding knife. This project was modeled in Solidworks and rendered in Keyshot 3. This project was completed in 2 days.

 

My design for the folding knife, inspired by the angular and aggressive design language, and contrasting colors of KTM Motorcycles features a large 3" Tanto blade, file, flatblade screwdriver, and bottle/can opener. I made two versions of the folding knife, one with a smooth painted steel finish, and one with a more textured finish.
