Color Me Buggy
The challenge is to study three basic categories of color theory: the color wheel, color harmony, and the context of how colors are used. The concept was to be part of a fictional design team contracted to create a display of colored beetles for a museum display.
The final image merged the recreation and the enhanced colored body.
From thirty beetles researched, four with distinct silhouettes were chosen for shading drawing studies.
From the four beetles, two were selected for recreation in Adobe Illustrator. Grey-scale and recreate its natural color.
