The South Indian state of Kerala was affected by severe floods on the month of august 2018. Strength shown by the people at the time of floods is immense, especially the fishermen community. This is my academic design project which was based on designing for social cause. It is a study on how communities can become more resilient to disasters like floods through an all-inclusive approach.

Here, I have chosen one particular neighborhood in Kerala, which was affected by flood. I'm developing ideas for systems related to three main categories- Info, Behavioral changes, Spaces and mapping them in this particular neighborhood to communicate to my audience through an example. These ideas contain parameters which can be used to implement the ideas in any flood prone area.
