WHEELS OF TIME
This is a special interactive piece where the gears and clocks turn and the butterflies move around. The woman in he middle is drawn on styrofoam and the  are on separate layers. Every butterfly can be moved around to create freedom off expression to the viewer.

BUTTERFLIES & REINCARNATION: The butterflies is a symbol of the viewers’ evocation of freedom. The magnetized butterflies is a physical manifestation of that freedom, where the viewer can playfully move them. Having the ability to direct the butterflies’ journey, provides the audience flexibility of imagination. How we cultivating our thinking shapes our thoughts, which becomes a direct representation of our actions, ultimately foreshadowing our daily habits. Every butterfly thrives on a separate layer in this piece. Butterflies reflecting ripples casted by one thought.

MOVING ELEMENTS: Gears that turn. The gears and clock wheels are another interactive feature on this piece, where the viewer can actually rotate and move them.  Serving a reminder that time is precious and a fallible commodity, that is often taken for granted. My art challenges the viewer to think of time as a construct, but also an opportunity to embrace what is important in this finite life. Contributing a different element to the theme of pop art.
FROM SEED TO REBIRTH: I find it exciting and challenging working with a dramatic separation of layers.  This is evident in the two overlapping sunflowers, with a strong distinction of floral shades. My revamped style of traditional pop art communicates the connected to mortality and the emotional gears we must endure as people. The flowers symbolize how we grow from our thoughts and actions.
