Flamingo Munchies Bar

The plan resembles a mirrored L and its divided into equal sized spaces with the arches dividing them. These five spaces tell different stories however they are in harmony in terms of their materiality. According to this concept, the arches are inspired from the curvy structure of a flamingo, serve a function of a portal.
The opening on the exterior facade continues this arch language of the project, aiming to attract pedestrians on the street. The neon flamingo sign on top of the entrance door exposes the brand of the space onto the street.
The entrance space includes a comfortable seating area with Martinique colored lounge chairs placed on three different angles.
There are two groups on the left side of the entrance. Pink booth chairs and white marble tables create a single group, located near the wall across the street. Another group is the green chairs and black granite tables. On the end of this space, there is a minimal artwork carved into a wall and lightened with built-in lighting
The counter area where visitors pay and choose the deserts shows itself the moment one enters into space. This part is designed to become a place where visitors lose themselves just like in the dark matter of space. To achieve this terrazzo is used on the four sides of the volume.
The minimal design of the counter aims to help the visitors decide comfortably, including an elegant space on the countertop where deserts are displayed.
Color choices become bolder when one goes forward from the counter area. The left side of this space has booth chairs and tables placed into spaces that curves create. On the right side, there are green chair and black granite tables grouped with white planters placed in front of the wall.
These spaces aim to be more private and dim-lit areas. A reflective material covers the corridor side of the curves in order to enlarge the perspective of the space.
