The project aims to develop a collection of innovative fabrics for a selected application. The area selected is the 'lampshades' that suit the 24 hour indoor cafes, with varying interplay of natural light, soothing music and an overall atmosphere targeting the mid-aged professionals seeking serenity. A collection of 16 innovative fabrics is developed that suit different shapes and forms of the lampshades. Construction of the fabrics is being done through combination of natural materials and woven constructions, using surfaces and patterns that cater to the requirements of the user.
