Empire of Opposites
Find a topic through your observation and research. Look to Rome’s long past—and the past can be ancient, or as new as Futurism, or Italian Art Deco, for example—and set up a contrast situation with the past and the present, or some topic from the past and some topic later in history, in order to create a direction of research from which you can develop a concept to direct text and visuals for a book.
