KIMOSHI
The project was born from a passion for paper, created especially with the approach to the Japanese art of calligraphy “Shodo” and the use of the card, the washi, which these symbols are printed on.
"Paper is a living object that comes from nature and nature preserves a remote life." Following this philosophy, what I wanted to do was certainly to collect some paper that do not require to cut down trees. Following the way of reuse and sustainability was definitely the right choice to create what we have always had in mind, a brand whose first value is to respect the environment.
KIMOSHI is a brand of bags made from kraft paper and his name can be divided into two words Kimo derived from Kimono (Japanese for something to wear) and shi (Japanese paper). So KIMOSHI is a paper to wear, to carry, to bring always with itself in any occasion, because of its strange shape, which allows the customer to have more solutions in one bag. In fact, KIMOSHI can be a backpack, a pouch or a bag ready to accompany you in all your experiences. It was important to carefully choose the materials that accompany the paper. So with natural glue for treatments and inside cladding with rubbish leather.
