I N K T O B E R 2 0 1 8
This year, I decided to take on the challenge of Inktober on my own! Instead of sticking to the official prompt list, I selected from a number of unofficial prompt list to keep my options open and fresh. Compared to last year, where I merely copied images from the internet by eye, this time around, I tried to bring my own visions to life! For most of the pieces, I have tried to add more detail. Inktober has helped me to develop my art style and it has allowed me to see my own progress, not only in quality but ability to compose a scene faster.
Doing Inktober for myself feels much more rewarding than it was last year. At the time of posting, I have painted 3 of these pieces. Eventually I will paint all of them and I can't wait until I find the time because so much of these pieces can benefit from colour.
