The 90th birthday of the abl (general building cooperative Lucerne) was the reason for the student competition „Art at Buildings“. The goal was to create something special for the big grey garage front at the newly built residential house Weinbergli 4. Then the greening planned originally failed because of the north-side situation.

The anniversary was the perfect occasion to pay tribute to all the members of the building cooperative. Because it is only thanks to them that the abl can grow steadily and achieve success. Over 10,000 names were painted on the garage facade. The colors are reminiscent of the vines once planned and complete the architects' color concept.
