For this project, there were two concepts of focus: break the rules of legible type by using type as conceptual communication, and creating a layout on the inside of the editorial that nicely harmonizes with the cover design. Within the final design, I chose to deface the letters into segments, and I displayed the editorial content in a jarring yet straightforward tone. The accent color used throughout the editorial is an eye-catching gold hue.
