FUU - FASHION DISTRICT
This fashion district located in zone 9 has the characteristic that the site is located in a high pedestrian area. The main concept of this project is the draping technique in fashion into a main canopy structure.
The structure opens up to the street corners, and to the Av. Reforma, which is the widest avenue in Guatemala. The structure acts as a roof and as urban mobility, where the building is connected by bridges, lowering the scale. The triangle-shaped bamboo structures holds up PH glass panels, saving energy while acting as shadow.
