LIFE OF PYTHAGORAS

- He was born in Samos, Greece 570 B.C and was a Ionian Greek. 
- He was married to a philosopher named Theano and had 4 children; one son and three daughters. 
- Pythagoras was a philosopher himself, along with being a mathematician and created the Pythagoras’ theorem and applied numbers in the objective world and within music, he was also a religious founder of the pythagorean religion, and was a social leader. 
- All these aspects of Pythagoras’ life lead him to being an acknowledged leader in his community, as well as a renowned historian ongoing until the present day.
- The core principals of his religion is that all life aspects relate to numerology and the study of mathematics.
- He was treated like a God, and was always interested in the heavens and wanted to discover a way to connect earth to God and the heavens
- He believes that he had the powers to recall his reincarnations and past lives 
- He was highly talented with mathematics and wanted to extend his skill form to measure the distance between the banal human existence and the heavenly infinite life of God and the angels 

DEATH OF PYTHAGORAS
- Croton created a democratic constitution which Pythagoreans rejected 
- Pythagoras and his followers were attacked during a meeting with council members 
- Some say Pythagoras escaped to Locris where he pleaded for a sanctuary but was rejected and died of starvation 
- Some say his students and followers created a bridge to cross the river with their bodies and sacrificed their loves for their love and devotion towards him
- And some say he committed suicide 

Iris the Goddess of the Rainbow (and messenger of the God’s)

- Iris is known as the messenger of Gods and the goddess of the rainbow
- She had a twin sister who betrayed the gods and became a titan like her father
- Iris is the carrier of sacred water through the river for ceremonies of solemn oath taking of the gods
- She also carried messages to communicate between the gods and humans on the land
- The rainbow is her symbol because the rainbow always appears between the clouds also known as the heavens and the ocean or land
- This is significant because her mother was a cloud name and her father was a titan
- She is portrayed to have huge heavenly golden wings and flew at the speed of light using the rainbow as her path between earth and heaven
- She was also the carrier of wine for the events and parties that gods attended
- Her strengths were faithfulness loyalty and being a Shapeshifter which her mother holds that ability and has passed it onto her
