Lewis Aptekar is a former professor of educational psychology at San Jose State University in California. His work as a professor has taken him all over the world, teaching courses such as Drug Abuse Counseling, Theories of counseling, Developmental Psychology, Teaching Emotionally Disturbed Children, as well as hosting seminars on topics such as Refugees and Displaced People, Mental Health of AIDS Victims, and Community Counseling. Lewis Aptekar has taught in various countries, such as Colombia, Swaziland, India, and many more.
