Nando's back-to-work digital campaign 
Dezemba. There's cousins of cousins, ke di 16 sneaks up on us and we often fulfill family obligations, leaving little time for ourselves.
Plus we end up spending most of our salary and bonus during the month, leaving us strapped for cash in January.

Idea

We reclaimed Dezemba. We positioned our back-to-work meal as the perfect excuse to  extend Festive by ditching “Family Time” and turning it into “Me Time”. 

Our audience could opt into chats with our Twitter bot if they needed even more excuses. 
People chose the different occasions they needed excuses for; 
from non-catered family reunions to friends who "happen" to forget their wallets. 

Some of the excuses we served: 
Once people received their excuses, the bot encouraged them to tweet them out while encouraging their followers to get their own excuses. 
We achieved a 52% share of voice compared to competitors over January to March and over 38 000 engagements.
