The aim of the project was to take a theme and create a pair of unconventional garments exploring on the lines of knit structures. The theme explored in this project is the Beatniks of 50’s, their heavy use of stripers along with panelling.
Multiple uncommon knit structures have been worked with, and constructed in a manner that works around using straight panels. The rebellious colour story includes red and blue, breaking the norms of achromatic. The complete add up of Beatniks, stripers and panelling has been made in the following pair of garments presented hereby.
