ARMA Magazine doubles membership signups
The brief: Re-imagine the notion of the membership magazine. Make it bold, informative and a genuine reflection of the community it serves.
The approach: Working with the design team at Research Media and head of communications at ARMA, we examined why modern research managers signup for ARMA membership. That led us to build out an information architecture that balanced educational resources, storytelling and community opinion on the current ecosystem.

To balance the long-form features and interviews, we spent lots of time getting the information and design architecture right, including short, engaging header copy to complement the friendly and inviting tone established with the magazine palette and illustrative style. 

Launched in March 2015, The Protagonist doubled membership renewal rates from the previous few years.​​​​​​​
