My third year sequential design project. We were required to adapt a short story into a 10 page comic, and I chose Cinnamon by Neil Gaiman.

Concept art of the main character Cinnamon. The story uses a lot of South Asian myths and setting features so I used a lot of Indian clothing, architecture and people for reference in the designs. The story is about Cinnamon becoming more confident in herself, so later in the comic her clothing becomes less restricted and formal.
