Philip is one of the founders of “Startup Meet-Up Göttingen”, the first ever platform in Göttingen for entrepreneurs and freelancers to meet and exchange ideas about their business and projects. Phil studied law at the University of Göttingen and now works as a business consultant. He also engages in venture development projects worldwide.

I went to shoot Phil on a sunny day in Hamburg. Driving through the Hafen-city, we quickly realized how hard it is to find a parking space even on a Friday morning. After finally finding a place to park our car we started preparing for the shoot. After just a few shots it started getting dark and cloudy, and it was an adventure trying to capture sunlight as we sprinted from one location to another.

After lunch we visited Bespoke, a new Coworking space in Hamburg decorated in a retro-Bauhaus style with bikes and plants. That’s where the indoor shoot was carried out. The photographs will be put up on Phil’s online business platforms - the aim was to represent his modern working style and new approach towards business.
