I spent the summer of 2012 in Lacoste, France, a little medieval style village in Provence in the middle of nowhere in the Luberon Valley. It was an awesome experience and gave me lots of time to make this series of mixed media works. The collage components are all pieces I found while in France like clippings from Vogue and cut up book pages from books i found in a Paris flea Market. They are about entropy and destruction, but also about the new things that rise from the ashes.
