This is a “Thank You” card I designed for a goodbye present to all the ladies that work at my local Asian Grocery Store. During my days at university, I would often stop by to pick up my groceries before heading home and it was one of the few places that I was such a regular customer that I began to get recognised by all the employees.
At one point, I started receiving a complimentary “White Rabbit” candy every time I came to do my shopping, which is the reason for the design I chose at the front. At the back I drew some lines for handwritten text and framed it with the items I bought most regularly. The shadows I used don’t conform to any particular light source, because I wanted to make it look like they were all exploding off the page in various directions.
