My recent visit to the city of Udaipur, Rajasthan for the craft study of Marble Inlay introduced me to the magnificent natural mineral Agate, which not only opened doors to creative application of the mineral in the inlay work but also inspired me to work beyond the industrial aspects and explore its organic yet cosmic formation. The above artwork is inspired by its light passing abilities, in addition to the array of colors used in a single piece. Ultra clear epoxy resin, resin hardener, pearl powders, transparent photo colours, acrylic paints, gold dust, glitter, MDF board (as canvas) and markers were used to create the artworks.
