Human connection: These unexpectedly tasty treats, meadow mushroom are considered a choice edible. They are closely related to the cultivated, store-bought white button mushroom. Smooth white to light grayish cap, pinkish brown gills, found in lawns and meadows. Always be absolutely certain of the identification before eating any wild mushroom, and always be sure to cook it before eating.
The selection of mushrooms below had been burnt by the morning sun. They immediately reminded me of pizza toppings.
