The combination of the old-fashioned and new architecture.
This is the first part of series of photos from some of the beautiful buildings of Savannah.
The city's visitors are attracted by its elegant architecture and historic ironwork. Examples of most America’s 18th and 19th architectural styles can be found in Savannah. When I decided to do this project, I started to pay more attention to the city and see details I wouldn’t see when walking around everyday. I could see more clearly the diversity of shapes, the individuality of each building and the coexistence of different styles of architecture.
It is fascinating how the old buildings are well preserved and the way their characteristics were maintained over time.
