Erosion Stool
Inspired from natural erosion, the Distool stool is designed to fit bottoms of all shapes and sizes.
Consisting of 157 wooden prongs and a bent sheet metal base, the Distool stool is a unexpectedly comfortable seat. Unlike regular chairs, the upholstery lives inside the seat.
As the user descends onto the stool, the wooden prongs retract into the base creating a perfectly moulded crater for any bum. As the user stands the prongs slowly move back to their original shape.
