CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
This design proposal takes into account the modularity mentioned in the company’s brief, but at the same time reinterpret it to help enhancing the usage of vehicles and so to tackle the issue of the short amount of time they are actually used after their purchase
Couleur is a vehicle composed of interchangeable modules.
The modules are cases looking-like elements which contain a range of of equipments specially designed for you to use in the vehicle

USER SCENARIO
“If the future cars will be autonomous, In which alternative ways the interior will be exploited?“
What if we could transform a car into a sort of mobile Cabinet of Curiosities where to do whatever you want and find whatever you need? The car would therefore become an attractive and desirable object for the user to use and to exploit.
By drawing on the motto of the company: “Renault: Passion for life”, I picked four areas of interests: Photography; Art & Diy; Music; Wellbeing and matched those with a module to be incorporated into the vehicle.
USER SCEnaRIO - Disposal AND REUSE OF MODULES
We can imagine a scenario where the vehicle would self-drive to a Renault Centre.
Renault would provide a replacement service of the old modules with new ones,
according to the user choice. The vehicle would then drive itself back to the user.
In doing so, the user could upgraded its vehicle overtime by choosing from a range of manifold modules, and the equipments he/she previous owned could be reused by Renault
