Pieces for Peace

EN For the benefit of ConTextos, a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of violence and the development of educational opportunities locally and internationally, and with the support of the Seed and Operación Paz, we were invited to be part of an artistic auction that sought to raise funds for the efforts of the NGO to achieve peace and social harmony in El Salvador. To do this, six illustrators of our team embarked on the creation of a collaborative piece, which addressed six important pillars in the lines of action of the organization: tolerance, empathy, solidarity, education, reading and social reintegration. For the development of the project, each illustrator created a portion of the full piece, which when united, formed the main motor of inspiration for the organization: the country of El Salvador.

ES A beneficio de ConTextos, una organización sin fines de lucro que se dedica a la prevención de violencia y al desarrollo de oportunidades de educación a nivel local e internacional, y con el apoyo del centro de emprendimiento Seed y la iniciativa social Operación Paz, se nos invitó a ser parte de una subasta artística que buscaba recaudar fondos destinados a los esfuerzos de la oenegé por lograr la paz y la armonía social en El Salvador. Para ello, seis ilustradores de nuestro equipo se embarcaron en la creación de una pieza colaborativa, donde se abordaban seis pilares importantes en las líneas de acción de la organización: la tolerancia, la empatía, la solidaridad, la educación, la lectura y la reinserción social. Para el desarrollo del proyecto cada ilustrador creó una porción de la pieza final, que al unirse, formaban el motor principal de inspiración de la organización: el pueblo de El Salvador.
