Bula Travel - Editorial and Branding

A travel booklet designed to encourage students to take a gap year and see the world. The USP for Bula Travel involves directing students to places which are 'off the beaten track', things that wouldn't normally feature in a travel booklet. This is to encourage people to see things which they wouldn't usually see and therefore support local businesses and make their experience truly unique. 
I used language which would be suited to the youthful target audience, such as highlighting the 'vibe' of a location. Additionally, I made sure places I found would be 'instgrammable' in order to fill the needs of the audience. 
I used a simple colour scheme of only three colours, however I made sure they were bright, friendly and gender neutral to appeal to the target audience and promote the feeling of fun and friendliness from the company. 
I also created business cards which use the iconic 'Bula B' which reflects the strap-line 'See the World Through Us". The business card can be used as a frame for photos which can then be posted on Instagram. Furthermore, the 'Bula B' shape has been manipulated to double as a bottle opener. As a result, when the customer is travelling and meeting like-minded people, they can have a 'beer with a bud' and share their Bula bottle opener. Therefore, opening up a conversation about Bula Travel.
