Made for: Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design (Swinburne University)

Brief: My task was to create a poster raising public awareness of the special contribution donors make to the community and encourage others to follow their example.

When  approaching the poster design I needed something which would be engaging and interactive. As a poster it needed to be particularly eye catching, as the attention needs to be captured within a glance. 

For the poster I decided on creating photography which would be immediately striking and resonate with the donator. The hands are not only joined to show the connection one person has when donating blood they directly save lives, but the hands are also clasped like hands embracing saying thank you.
