The Joe: Center For the Arts

The Frame
In every frame exist some form of art or design. It is by design that even without a fiscal frame the eye will mount the work. The framing of art and design is human nature. When looking at most works, we are drawn into the world of its creator. There is also a practice to break this frame, and these artisans are of the unnatural.  The traditional, the non-traditional, the modern, and the classical; their representation needed to be in one icon.
Broken on one side and held together on the other, the Joe frame shows both parties. The pieces that separate are not shattered and are not spread too far from its origins. Just as in art and design you can always see a connection between one new work to an older one.
I came up with eight designs before I narrowed it down to four.

P.S. Narrow it down before you create color schemes. Having this order of operations allows you to choose the best design over color. The image below is the only time I neglected the advice, and I was quick to correct it.
