Teddy boys were one of the first subcultures to celebrate their own youth, begetting egocentric teenagers for generations to come. These well-dressed teenager of the ‘50s and ‘60s were inspired by the styles of the Edwardian dandies, a look that was coupled with musical style, rock and roll. The Teds were also associated with disobedient and violent behavior and public struggles that led them to be banned from some locations.

The present booklet portrays the subculture of teddy boys, the duality between their behaviour, sometimes racist, and their dress code, very formal and elegant. Contains a representative t-shirt of this subculture.
