Interior Design for The Kickboxing Studio, Ahmedabad

The Kickboxing Studio was shifting to a bigger, better location in a posh but happening locality in Ahmedabad and they wanted the interiors of their new studio to reflect the same. The client was looking for a clean and minimal space which exuded class and warmth. Keeping the non active are (office space) and active area (fitness) separate was a requirement.
The core colours here -  same as their branding - red and white (and the green of the turf).
For the active area, maximum space for mobility & fuctionality was the most important aspect. All white cielings and walls and full length mirrors faing the entrance - doubled up the space visually. Matte black was used in small amounts (walls and metal furniture) to balance the black boxing bags. Warm walnut brown wooden flooring added the right amount of texture. The furniture was designed to blend in with the space - a darker brown with a dash of matte red as an accent - as in their logo.
The wooden flooring continued into the office area with a light rust brick wall cladding to separate it from the rest of the studio. Metal furniture with metal frames exposed in matte black gave the space an understated industrial and semi-casual look.
