A simple visit to the local school to document how a community, when it works together, can achieve great things.  The hotel on the banks of the Zambezi River, Waterberry Lodge, provides employment for a number of the villagers and also helps with the growth of food, and education for the children.  We visited the local school and their village, and whilst we did feel a little like voyeurs, the warmth of the children's welcome and the complete absence of coaches and paying tourists assured us this was an invitation, not an intrusion.  And, in an extraordinary act of kindness, the villagers and local choir joined us the following evening and sang beautifully for our family as we sat around our campfire sharing the local food.
