In your Blood you shall live

In your Blood you shall live

The I passed you and saw you wallowing in your blood, and I said to you, In your blood you shall live”; In your blood you shall live”.(Yechezkel 16:6)
The girl wallowing in her blood corresponds to the Jewish people in Egypt. Who wallowed in the mud and clay to make bricks (Radak)
Kedusha Levi: (ArtScroll series)
The word Adam אדם is composed of two words דם blood, which represents man’s lust and anger, the traits that lead to sin and animalistic craving for pleasure; and א aleph, which is spelled אלף, is the word for teaching training and pedagogy. When man combines blood with teaching he raises himself above his animal nature and channels his craving to service of God and spiritual growth. Thus our verse alludes to the history of Israel under Egyptian slavery. During the harsh servitude they were wallowing in blood, without spiritual refinement. But when they cried out to Hashem, He helped them raise themselves out of the animalistic muck and use their blood, desire, to live as holy Jews.
